it's non-stop knitting here in oakland. i'm planning on giving my hand knit socks as gifts, but i realize it's cutting it pretty close with xmas just 5 days away.
You have the luckiest family ever! You've accomplished my dream, knitting socks for everyone. I've been too busy around the holidays to ever make it happen.
Your socks are sooo lovely! I only have managed to knit a couple of pairs as gifts this year... i am hoping more next year... hand knit sock are truly one of life's little luxuries!
Wowey! How did you make so many in time?! I started mine in january and only have one (Almost very nearly) finished. Please please please recommend me your wools, I am in love with a good sock wool these days :)
hi erin! i highly recommend checking out ravelry.com, as they have an endless number of free patterns that you can search according to level of difficulty. my socks are knitted from the cuff down to the toe (just personal preference) on double pointed needles (as opposed to circular needles, so you could start looking for patterns based on that. hope this helps!
They look lovely and warm! My feet always get cold, so socks, in my book, are the perfect gift for Christmas!
