i'm trying to get into the holiday season by knitting a pair of socks this year - my first ever. they will be an xmas gift for m. i'm not sure if he knows that they're not machine washable...

    hi jennifer! the basket is made by an artist named amanda ward (based in petaluma, ca). I used to work with her in my former days as gallery director / arts program manager.

    @ ella - the wool is rowan's felted tweed dk. they have so many beautiful, offbeat colors that pair really well together.
