contemplating buying a pair (or two) of happy socks. does anyone out there own a pair? are they worthwhile at $10-15 a pair?

  1. you don't have to pay that much for these! jeremy's on college ave. usually has baskets of these for around $7/pair.

  5. i have a couple pairs and i like them. they hold up well but are kinda on the thinner side. mostly you're paying for the cute pattern and brand name. i wouldn't make a habit of buying them regularly... there are so many less expensive/cute socks to be had out there! (but you can find them on sale a lot!)

  6. @roberta jane - thanks for the sound advice. i was looking for a pair of thin socks since none of my other socks go on smoothly under skinny jeans, but maybe i should try on a pair and see.

  7. They're cute but several of the pairs my husband had did not hold up well. They got holes in them after a few wears! I don't have any myself so I can't say for sure if they're just flimsy or if it's that men are hard on their socks, but his other socks have held up for years...

  10. no fair! i want them at that price. happy socks are great. i will say that they held up best on the first wear, but after the first wash they are OK. ive had some for a while now and my husband as well. we don't have holes in our socks and i've washed them repeatedly.
