My first experience with the beautiful and mysterious fava bean. Don't you want to just string them up and wear them around your neck? Very Frida.

    i ended up boiling them, and then sauteing with lemon + olive oil with light salt + pepper to taste. but i just came across alice waters' new book and there's a fava bean spread that i'm hoping to try out. feeling the need to diversify :)
