memorial day weekend was spent trying to pick-up where i left off. i've gone through 4 different possible designs and i'm still moving things around. it never ends.
OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS! Deciding the layout for a quilt is my least favourite part - there are WAY too many options. This one is going to be SO RAD any way. man, seriously, this makes me want to make another quilt...
Nicole! I'm so happy to see this! I did get my hands on some remnants from Shabd and I'm so pleased that I emailed you to ask. Mine are much smaller so my quilts with be in miniature. I sketched out what I want to do and I'll be posting mine soon! This fabric is wonderful; I think I have Yardage Envy!
carolanne! i've been dying to see what you've been up to with you shabd fabric. please share! i'm starting to wonder if i have enough fabric as well (hence the 1/2 white 1/2 tiedye square composition). i'm cutting it pretty close.
this is lovely! I am still laying out Alex's baby quilt, made of Tim's old dress shirts, three years later. Sigh! Maybe I like the designing more than the sewing....
