i'm a terrible morning person so breakfast is often the last thing on my mind. thankfully, granola can always be made the day before. ah, but which recipe to use? there are so many granola recipes out there, and i feel like i've tried them all. this recipe by stephanie + mav is pretty yummy. i especially love it because it doesn't use any oil, which i find overwhelms the oats.

the finished product aka this week's breakfast. add some milk, bananas and i'm already on my way to work.

  1. that rice syrup gets extra points just for being so dang pretty. the final product doesn't look half bad either--yum.

    1. the brown rice syrup was a little tricky to find, but it turns out whole food sells it. i highly recommend as it has a barely sweet taste perfect for binding all of the ingredients together.

    1. at your mention of butter, chocolate and marshmallows, i'm now tempted to add the same! in my eyes, you're the real cooking pro. so you know... if natasha uses chocolate, then so shall i :)
